Job summary

MR DIY Philippines Sunnyplace Commercial is seeking a Store Cashier who can handle payments, operate registers and scanners, and ensure accurate receipts for every customer. You will balance the cash drawer and generate reports for credit and debit sales.

You will balance the cash drawer, process exchanges and refunds, and maintain a clean checkout area while delivering quality service with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess bachelor’s degree (on Business course or any 4 year course).
• Has sufficient background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
• Has the ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented and can work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 1 year/s experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
