Job summary

Avid Sales Corporation is seeking a cashier to support daily retail operations in the Philippines. The role focuses on smooth customer transactions, cash handling, and delivering a positive shopping experience.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in business studies or related fields, familiarity with POS systems, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Fresh graduates are welcome, and prior cashiering experience in retail is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business studies or its equivalent.
Knowledgeable in operating POS machine and handling credit card transaction is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

Handle a variety of tasks to ensure smooth customer transactions and a positive shopping experience.
Accepting cash, credit, debit, and check payments, issuing receipts, and making change accurately.
Answering questions, providing product information, handling returns and exchanges, and resolving complaints or issues.
Balancing cash registers, maintaining accurate transaction records, performing cash drops, and reconciling the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.
Keeping the checkout area clean, organized, and free of clutter, and ensuring safety and security protocols are followed.
