Job summary

Primer Group of Companies is seeking a Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer to support the Retail Analytics Platform by transforming transactional data from OLTP systems into reliable, governed datasets for reporting, planning, and forecasting. This role focuses on end-to-end data quality and robust analytics foundations.

You will design ELT/ETL pipelines, work with sales, inventory, finance, product, and store data domains, and collaborate with SMEs to ensure accurate, usable outputs for

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience transforming OLTP data into analytical datasets.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT development skills.
• Experience with data quality, reconciliation, and governance.
• BigQuery or cloud data warehouse experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines and data marts for analytics.
• Work with sales, inventory, finance and product data domains.
• Design layered data structures using medallion architecture.
• Build reusable transformation logic for reporting and planning.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring across the pipeline.
• Prepare data models and data lineage documentation.
