Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a group of international hospitality casual dining brands. Our client is looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead their fine dining restaurant in Makati. The role involves managing daily operations, ensuring top-tier service and food quality, driving sales, and leading a high-performing team-all while upholding brand standards. Both the head office and restaurant are located in Makati.
Job Responsibilities:
- Working with Director for Operations, develop the restaurant's annual operating budget and control all profit and loss centers, including food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs.
- Ensure a safe working environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents through continual repair and maintenance of restaurant.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date manpower plan of restaurant staffing needs. Prepare management schedules and ensure that the restaurant is staffed for all shifts.
- Staff, train and develop restaurant managers and hourly employees through orientations, ongoing feedback, establishment of performance expectations and by conducting performance reviews.
- Ensure that all employee and management candidates are interviewed and hired through the Company's Interview, Hiring and Selection Process. Has final authorization on hiring and termination decisions of hourly employees.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Manage budgets, forecast revenues, and control expenses to achieve financial targets.
- Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for maximizing profitability.
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times.
Key job qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant management, with a focus on fine dining establishments.
- Proven track record of managing high-performing teams and achieving financial targets.
- Strong understanding of profit and loss statements, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Strong understanding of fine dining service standards and operational best practices.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
