KINGKING MINING CORPORATION (KMC) IS HIRING for Resource Geologist
Role
The Resource Geologist will be responsible for the evaluation, estimation, and ongoing maintenance of mineral resources, with a strong focus on porphyry and epithermal style. The role requires a mature, hands‑on geologist with practical experience working in active mining operations, capable of bridging geological interpretation with operational realities.
Key Functions
- Resource Modeling & Estimation
- Develop, update, and maintain geological and resource models in accordance with JORC / NI 43-101 / CIM/ PMRC or other relevant reporting codes.
- Interpret complex geological datasets for porphyry and epithermal mineral systems, including lithology, alteration, structure, and mineralization controls.
- Perform grade estimation using appropriate geostatistical methods and ensure defensible assumptions.
- Prepare and support resource statements, technical reports, and internal reviews.
Operational Integration
- Work closely with mine geology, planning, and mining operations to ensure resource models are practical, realistic, and aligned with mining constraints.
- Provide geological input into short- and long-term mine planning.
- Support reconciliation between resource models, grade control, and production data.
- Participate in site visits, mapping, and drilling programs as required.
Drilling & Data Management
- Design and review resource extension and infill drilling programs.
- Ensure QA/QC protocols are implemented and monitored.
- Validate and manage geological databases, including drillhole, assay, and geological data.
Technical Leadership & Mentoring
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level geologists.
- Review geological interpretations and resource work completed by others.
