Job description

Purpose

Drive impactful creative and media insights for clients by managing end‑to‑end research projects, from design to delivery. Combine strong analytical skills with media expertise to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations. Lead a small team, build trusted client relationships, and support growth through high‑quality delivery and solution adoption.

A critical success factor will be a strong client partnership, willingness to stretch and stay on top of multiple projects happening simultaneously. The person will also demonstrate high attention to detail alongside flexibility and agility.

This role will be based in Manila, Philippines but report to a manager based in Singapore and with team members based in Southeast Asia. The work will involve regional clients across Asia Pacific region.

The Role
1) Client Management & Consultancy
  • Have a clear understanding of client businesses, stakeholders, markets, and verticals; contribute practical, evidence‑based recommendations.
  • Strong questioning and probing skills to identify the real business issues behind client conversations, with the ability to shape research design and insights accordingly.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients to the extent they are perceived as a key member of the team that can offer advice and support.
  • Present confidently and regularly; facilitate discussions to clarify business issues.
  • Contribute to strategic client account plans.
2) Media Measurement and Creative Expertise
  • Lead the deployment of Kantar’s proprietary creative and media solutions and best practices (e.g., brand lift, campaign effectiveness) and deliver impactful insights to clients.
  • Skilled at delivering high‑quality insights under tight deadlines, distilling complex research findings into concise, compelling stories that highlight the “so what” for clients.
  • Design appropriate research solutions (sampling, questionnaire, data specifications) and synthesize multiple sources (sales, media spend, platform metrics) into compelling, concise stories with clear business implications.
  • Formulate, articulate and validate hypotheses to help build appropriate, relevant and impactful stories.
  • Accountable for the accurate and timely delivery of account outputs including data tables, KPIs, presentations, reports and workshops – balancing own analysis and creation of deliverables with delegating within the team.
  • Maximize account efficiency by reviewing, improving and streamlining processes and systems without compromising quality.
  • Accountable for managing and monitoring junior team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of scripts, charting, fieldwork and data provision from relevant departments.
3) Commercial & Growth Support
  • Maintain strong delivery and growing client relationships through strong critical thinking and expertise.
  • Support Director in building proposals and pitches content and pricing (needs discovery, methodological design, costing, proposal drafting, and portions of pitch delivery).
  • Being on top of finance processes (paperwork/contracts/PO/billing) and manage direct costs and time costs accurately.
4) People & Team
  • Coach and support 2–3 junior team members with ongoing feedback, monthly check‑ins, and timely appraisal inputs; set clear objectives.
  • Balance hands‑on analysis and deliverable creation with effective delegation, feedback, and resourcing/management of junior team members.
  • Complete all Performance Appraisals Process responsibilities on time.
Key Requirements
  • 4‑6 years of relevant experience in insights, tech or media (agency, ad tech, or client‑side), with exposure to campaign measurement, brand tracking/lift, or creative testing; strong quantitative foundation. Familiarity with digital platforms (Google/YouTube, Meta, TikTok, or video streaming platforms).
  • Technical Proficiency: Intermediate proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data handling.
  • Bilingual Business Proficiency: Fluent in English, with the ability to analyze, write, and present insights effectively to diverse audiences, including senior executives.
  • Extensive Client Management: Extensive experience managing relationships with clients and various stakeholders, having confidence to provide advisory that can influence decisions, and setting clear expectations.
  • Insightful Communicator: Clear and concise in both written and verbal communication; skilled at translating complex analysis into practical, business‑ready recommendations.
  • Presentation Skills: Proven track record of confidently delivering research findings and strategic recommendations in client‑facing settings.
  • Team Collaboration & Growth Mindset: Collaborative, resilient, and organized, with strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure. Demonstrates a positive, proactive solutions‑oriented mindset; navigates ambiguity with confidence, thinks creatively, takes ownership of challenges, and delivers practical, innovative solutions.
  • Research Fundamentals: Proficient in questionnaire and sample design, data specifications, quality checks, charting, and end‑to‑end project management; adept at synthesizing sales, media spend, and platform data.
  • People Management: Experience line‑managing a team of two or more, providing guidance, feedback, and development support.
