Job summary

KINTARA MANUF VENTURES INC in the Philippines seeks a disciplined R&D Chemist to develop, improve, and optimize cosmetic formulations. You will conduct formulation trials, test samples, and prepare materials for evaluation.

You will evaluate raw materials, update costings, maintain rigorous documentation, and collaborate with Production, QA, Compliance, and Purchasing to drive development from concept to commercialization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related science/technical field.
• Experience in cosmetic formulation and product development.
• Experience in developing, testing, and improving cosmetic products.
• Knowledge of cosmetic raw materials and formulation processes.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and organizational skills.

• Evaluate raw materials and identify suitable materials for product development and reformulation.

• Maintain complete and accurate R&D documentation, technical reports, and product specifications.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, Compliance, and Purchasing regarding product development activities.

• Identify formulation issues and recommend appropriate adjustments or improvements.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Pharmacy, or any related science/technical field.
• Must have relevant experience in cosmetic formulation and product development.
• Experience in developing, testing, and improving cosmetic products/formulations is required.
• Knowledge of cosmetic raw materials, formulation processes, and laboratory testing.
• Able to work independently and manage formulation activities with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Experience in product costing and raw material evaluation is an advantage.
• Willing to learn and comply with applicable quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
