Job summary

Vertex Search is seeking an Investment Analyst – Renewable Energy in Manila to support end-to-end M&A and project-finance transactions. The role involves data room management, due diligence tracking, and liaison with lenders and advisors.

The position requires 3–5 years in investment banking or corporate finance, strong financial modelling and outstanding English communication skills. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential; prior renewables exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
CFA designation or CFA Level II is a plus; strong financial acumen.
3–5 years of investment banking or corporate finance experience preferred.
Strong financial modelling, analytical and presentation skills.
Excellent written and spoken English communications.

Responsibilities

Support end-to-end execution of M&A and project-finance transactions, including RFI packs, data room management, due diligence tracking and lender coordination.
Review term sheet mark-ups, compile schedules, track closing deliverables and maintain SPV permits/document repository.
Coordinate with advisors, respond to lender queries and manage advisor-payment tracking.
Build and maintain project-finance models from templates, including cost estimation, sensitivities and covenant testing.
Prepare financial forecasts and scenario analyses across markets and regulatory environments.
Assist FP&A deliverables including budget monitoring, variance analysis and CAPEX inputs.
Prepare inputs for quarterly, monthly, and weekly management reports and investment memoranda.
