Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Mechanical Support Engineer for its Beckel, La Trinidad, Benguet operations. You will prepare and implement work orders for fabrication and machining of ROR mechanical spares, plan drawings, and perform asset condition assessments and predictive analyses.

You'll work closely with Operations and Maintenance to ensure reliability and safety of mechanical systems across renewable energy plants while developing skills in a purpose-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• A Registered Mechanical Engineer is required/strongly preferred.
• At least two years of related experience in mechanical engineering.
• Project experience: one year minimum.
• Basic knowledge of fabrication and machine shop equipment, condition monitoring, and predictive analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepares schedule and estimates for mechanical design.
• Prepares plans and drawings for mechanical design.
• Conducts mechanical assets inspection, predictive analysis and assessment.
• Recommend Corrective and Preventive Maintenance plans for mechanical assets.
• Conducts Non-Destructive Testing (PT, MT, UT, Hardness, Vibration Analysis)
• Initiates material requests for department needs.
• Implements and monitors Work Orders for fabrication and machining of spares for ROR mechanical components.
• Maintains availability and reliability of shop tools, machines, equipment via preventive maintenance and calibration.
