HireLago is seeking a WordPress Developer to design, build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites. You will work on themes, plugins, performance optimization, and security to deliver scalable, fast, and SEO-friendly solutions.

Remote role with opportunities across global clients. 2–4 years of WordPress experience and strong PHP/JS/HTML5/CSS3 skills are essential. Collaboration with designers, PMs, and clients is required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional WordPress development experience.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for WordPress development.
• Experience building custom themes and plugins from scratch or via child themes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites including custom themes and plugins.
• Translate design mockups (Figma, Adobe XD) into pixel-perfect, responsive WordPress implementations.
• Configure and customize popular WordPress plugins (WooCommerce, Advanced Custom Fields, Elementor, Yoast, etc.).
• Optimize website performance (page speed, Core Web Vitals, caching, image optimization).
• Implement on-page SEO best practices in collaboration with SEO specialists.
