Job summary

Orca Brands is hiring a Video Producer to own planning, coordination, and follow-through for our video shoots. You’ll manage everything before and after shoots, working remotely with our videographer who leads on set.

Qualifications

• Experience producing or coordinating video shoots across commercial, brand, agency, e-commerce, or content production.
• Examples of shot lists, call sheets, and pre-production documents you personally built, and the finished videos that came from them.
• Ruthless organization and follow-through; nothing falls through the cracks; clear communication with teams.

Responsibilities

• Build the shot plan from each script: shot list, framing notes, product and hair-state requirements, b-roll needs, and variants editors will need.
• Own pre-production: schedules, call sheets, run-of-show, locations, props, wardrobe, models and talent, product samples, and shipping logistics.
• Coordinate the videographer and any crew: brief them on the plan, align on gear and setups, confirm deliverables.
• Source and manage talent (models, hair talent, UGC creators, presenters); outreach, booking, releases, and payments.
• Manage shoot budgets and vendor relationships; track spend and negotiate rates.
• Run the day remotely: be on call during shoots, track shot-list completion, troubleshoot as needed.
• Own post handoff: footage ingest, organization, naming, selects, and a clear brief to editors.
• Build systems: templates for shot lists, call sheets, prop trackers, and a repeatable launch-shoot playbook.
• Coordinate multiple shoots and launches concurrently without slip.
