Job summary

StaffHero in the Philippines is seeking a creative Video Editor to produce engaging video content for social media, campaigns, websites, and ads. You will transform raw footage into polished videos, craft hooks, and ensure brand consistency.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, and familiarity with AI tools like Runway or Descript.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating video editing and storytelling skills.
• Proficiency with industry-standard software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut).
• Strong understanding of video pacing, storytelling, transitions, sound design, and visual composition.
• Experience creating content specifically for social media platforms.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, marketing campaigns, websites, advertisements, and other digital platforms.
• Transform raw footage into engaging and polished videos.
• Create videos for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Add captions, subtitles, transitions, motion graphics, sound effects, music, and visual effects.
• Create engaging hooks and maintain strong pacing throughout videos.
• Repurpose long-form content into short-form clips and social media content.
• Collaborate with marketing, content, and creative teams to develop video concepts.
• Ensure videos follow brand guidelines and maintain consistent visual quality.
• Source and incorporate appropriate stock footage, images, music, and other creative assets.
• Manage multiple video projects while meeting deadlines.
• Stay current with video trends, editing techniques, and emerging AI tools.
• Organize and maintain video project files and creative assets.

• Utilize AI-powered video and creative tools to improve editing efficiency and content production.
• Experience with tools such as Runway, Kling, Veo, Pika, Descript, CapCut AI, Synthesia, Adobe Firefly, or similar platforms is a strong advantage.
• Use AI for tasks such as video generation, background removal, voiceovers, captions, image generation, and content enhancement.
