RemoteVA is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to craft engaging video content for social media and campaigns, leveraging AI-powered editing tools to streamline production.

Part-time, 20 hours/week with EST schedule; remote work from the Philippines is considered. Candidates should showcase a strong portfolio and proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and AI tools.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio.
• Experience editing videos for weddings.
• Proficient in listed software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut).
• Hands-on experience with AI video editing tools such as Runway, Descript, Opus Clip, VEED, Pika, HeyGen, Synthesia, or similar platforms.
• Strong storytelling, pacing, color grading, audio editing, and motion graphics.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, YouTube, websites, and ads.
• Use AI video editing tools to streamline workflows, enhance visuals, generate captions, and improve production quality.
• Create engaging transitions, motion graphics, sound effects, and color corrections.
• Incorporate stock footage, music, and graphics while maintaining brand consistency.
• Optimize videos for different platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop compelling video content.
• Stay up to date with the latest video editing trends and AI technologies.
