Work Schedule: 8hrs per day, Sunday to Thursday, 7:30AM-3:30PM (CET)

Work Setup: Remote

Salary Range: $1,200–$1,900/month (still negotiable based on candidate’s skills, experience and portfolio) Our client is looking for a skilled Technical Draftsman (CNC Woodworks) to create and edit technical drawings for model kitchens, closets, built‑ins, and custom furniture. The role includes producing accurate, production‑ready shop drawings, cutting lists, joinery details, and exploded views, while collaborating with designers, project managers, and production teams to ensure compliance with specifications, timelines, and quality standards. Regular reviews and updates of drawings to reflect design changes and site conditions are required.

Company Overview

Our client is a design studio specializing in technical design and production drawings for custom wood and metal fabrication.

Their work focuses on bridging the gap between concept and manufacturing. They translate ideas, sketches, and specifications into accurate 3D models and clear technical documentation ready for real-world production.

They work closely with carpenters, metal workshops, architects, and designers to ensure that every drawing is optimized for fabrication processes, materials, and assembly requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and schematics in accordance with project requirements, with a focus on CNC machining and modeling.

• Convert Sketches, engineering data, and design concepts into accurate and complete technical drawings.

• Update, modify and revise drawings as necessary to reflect design changes or project developments.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers to ensure alignment with project objectives and CNC production requirements.

• Ensure all drawings maintain a high level of accuracy and comply with project specifications, standards and regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Proven hands‑on experience in carpentry or cabinetry.

• Solid knowledge of wood materials and fabrication.

• Hands‑on experience with CNC machining and modeling.

• Proficiency in Cabinet Vision, TopSolid, SolidWorks, or other advanced CNC software and technologies.

• Detail‑oriented, with experience in kitchens, doors, and custom woodwork as shown in portfolio.

• Experience producing accurate, production‑ready technical drawings for CNC production.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Rhino for 3D modeling and technical design.

• Experience with Grasshopper for design automation.

• Knowledge of metal materials and fabrication processes for manufacturing.

• Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design background preferred, with practical carpentry experience.

• Experience managing or developing a small logistics team.

• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills for building models, dashboards, and trackers.

• Strong financial and commercial judgment, with the ability to translate logistics decisions into dollar impact.

• Strong written and spoken English, with 4+ hours of daily U.S. Eastern Time overlap and availability for China supplier calls at least twice weekly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with U.S. customs and duties, including Incoterms, HTS classification, Section 301 stacking, and ISF.

• Experience with duty refund recovery, classification reviews, or related customs processes.

• Familiarity with Amazon AWD and changes introduced in January 2026.

• Experience managing FBA reimbursement processes.

• Experience scaling logistics across 100+ product variations within complex color and size matrices.

• Strong understanding of how PPC spend, promotions, and demand fluctuations impact inventory planning.
