Job summary

Sorren Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join our remote, full-time team working U.S. hours (PH Night Shift). You will assist with preparing tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships and support compliance tasks for clients across borders.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, strong attention to detail, and willingness to learn U.S. tax concepts. We offer competitive pay, a provided laptop, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Willingness to learn U.S. tax concepts and processes.
• Strong attention to detail with numerical data and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns under supervision
• Reconcile accounting records and supporting schedules used in tax preparation
• Gather, organize, and maintain client tax documents and electronic files in accordance with firm standards
• Enter and verify tax data accurately within tax preparation software and spreadsheets
• Review prior-year returns and workpapers to ensure consistency and completeness
• Support quarterly and annual accounting tasks that feed into tax compliance work
• Follow established procedures, checklists, and documentation requirements
• Identify missing or unclear information and escalate questions to senior team members as appropriate
• Communicate clearly with Philippines-based and U.S.-based team members to support timely completion of deliverables
• Participate in training and learning opportunities to build foundational tax and accounting knowledge
• Perform other duties and display flexibility to support team needs and deadlines as assigned by firm leadership
