The role combines clinical duties, patient coordination, and live interpretation to ensure accurate information and quality care for Spanish-speaking patients.

The ideal candidate has strong medical terminology knowledge and excellent communication in Spanish and English, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in related specialty.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English with live medical interpretation.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical documentation.
• Experience with EHR systems and documenting patient encounters.
• Willingness to work US hours and potential weekend shifts.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, record vitals, and prep for visits.
• Assist physicians in orthopedics, sports medicine, and physical therapy.
• Provide live Spanish-English medical interpretation.
• Conduct patient intakes via video calls.
• Document encounters and treatment plans in EHR.
• Support physical therapy workflows and equipment.
• Prepare exam rooms and stock supplies.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
• Coordinate care with physicians and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
