Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Manager for Internal Audit SOX to join our Consulting Enterprise Risk team. This remote, client-facing role focuses on SOX 404, process compliance, and SOP development. You will interact with management executives, build client relationships, and lead teams across locations to deliver high-impact SOX engagements.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in risk & controls, 4+ years in SOX, and a strong COSO understanding. CIA is preferred; global travel may be required.

Qualifications

• More than 7 years of risk & controls experience in a Big 4 or professional firm
• More than 4 years in SOX/internal controls
• Strong understanding of SOX and COSO framework

Responsibilities

• Manage a team to deliver SOX engagements across clients
• Guide Staff and Senior members on SOX compliance and controls
• Lead control rationalization and redesign of processes
• Identify control gaps and coordinate remediation
• Define budgets and resource planning
• Independently manage client process owners
• Ensure quality within timelines and budget
• Drive analytics, benchmarking, and process automation
• Build and maintain executive-level client relationships
• Collaborate across service lines and respond to RFPs
