Job summary

BruntWork, a boutique digital marketing team, seeks a Social Media Assistant to lead publishing across a premium portfolio of architecture and design clients, coordinating with external editors, designers, and copywriters.

You will manage scheduling with Sprout Social, ensure assets are approved, monitor posts, and produce performance reports while adapting to Western-style brands for Australian or American clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing social media accounts for agencies or brands, ideally in architecture, interior design, or lifestyle sectors.
• Proficiency using Sprout Social or similar agency-level social media scheduling platforms.
• Excellent written English with strong British spelling and grammar.
• Strong visual eye and ability to recognize when an image, crop, or design asset is off-brand or incorrect.
• Highly detail-oriented with efficiency in repetitive administrative tasks.
• Proactive and self-sufficient, able to group questions and solve problems independently.
• Reliable internet connection and professional workspace.
• Experience working with Australian or American clients and understanding contemporary western culture and aesthetics.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily social media scheduling and publishing across multiple client accounts using Sprout Social.
• Upload, tag, and schedule content accurately, ensuring assets are formatted and approved before going live.
• Coordinate with external video editors, graphic designers, and copywriters to traffic manage content revisions and approvals.
• Monitor live posts after publication to troubleshoot issues.
• Select, crop, and pair images for posts, maintaining brand aesthetic and quality standards.
• Handle content amplification including sharing to stories and managing boosted posts within guidelines.
• Flag content gaps and communicate when new briefs or production timelines are needed.
• Produce social media performance reports using Sprout Social analytics.
• Manage some Meta paid advertising tasks including boosting posts as directed.
• Maintain organized workflows across a high-volume content calendar.
