Job summary

Webhouse Technologies Pty is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own technical delivery from architecture to production for Australian SMB clients. You will work with the founder, leads, and clients to ship custom software and AI automation that runs operations.

You’ll design full-stack apps, APIs, and AI-assisted workflows on a modern TS stack, pairing with juniors and translating client pain into software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering shipping production web apps.
• Expert in TypeScript with React, Next.js and Node.js.
• Strong PostgreSQL fundamentals and data modeling capability.
• Experience deploying production systems on Vercel or AWS.
• Familiar with integrating AI workflows via LLM APIs and client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Own technical delivery of client engagements end-to-end from discovery to handover.
• Design and build full-stack web apps, APIs, and AI-powered workflows.
• Make pragmatic architecture decisions balancing scope, timelines and maintainability.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise the team’s technical quality.
• Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to translate needs into software.
