WizeTalent in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a Perth-based accounting firm. The role initially focuses on SMSF compliance, taking ownership from start to finish, then expanding to general accounting and tax compliance for the firm's broader client base.

This is an ideal role for an experienced accountant who enjoys taking ownership of their work, with full-time remote work aligned to Perth hours (AWST) and a salary in the PHP 110,000–140,000 range depending on experience.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of Australian public accounting experience, including tax and financial statements.
• Hands-on SMSF compliance experience.
• Experience with BGL SF360, Xero and XPM.
• Strong English communication and client-service skills.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and review SMSF annual financial statements, tax returns and workpapers.
• Process SMSF transactions, investment income, contributions and member balances.
• Liaise with SMSF auditors and resolve audit queries to finalise compliance.
• Ensure SMSF compliance with superannuation legislation and ATO requirements.
• Correspond with clients and accountants regarding SMSF queries.
• Assist with strategic planning and Statements of Advice handling.
