Job summary

D2B is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team. You will maintain a Kubernetes-based hosting platform powering client websites and applications for a digital agency, focusing on reliability, security, automation, and scalability.

Work with a small engineering group to implement CI/CD, manage AWS infrastructure, and enforce ISO 27001 and SOC 2 controls. Remote role based in the Philippines with AU business hours; competitive AUD salary and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Proven senior DevOps experience with Linux administration and scripting (Bash/Python).
• Hands-on Kubernetes, Docker and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience migrating and configuring apps across Kubernetes environments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 and/or SOC 2 compliance is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support a Kubernetes-based hosting platform and AWS infrastructure for Drupal/Laravel apps.
• Migrate, configure, and optimize client apps into Kubernetes environments.
• Monitor platform health and respond to outages, incidents, and security events.
• Execute deployments and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage IAM and access across Google Workspace, Atlassian, hosting platforms, and VCS.
• Assist in onboarding/offboarding and device management for staff.
• Contribute to security controls, audit readiness, and compliance efforts.
