Job summary

Xideral is seeking a Senior Data Engineering Technical Lead to guide a team of data engineers and IDMC administrators in a remote role based in Mexico. You will drive data integration initiatives, establish standards, and lead modernization projects to deliver enterprise data products end-to-end.

The candidate will mentor teams, define best practices, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of data pipelines and quality data across the platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience.
• Proven experience leading data engineering teams.
• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC Full Stack.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms and cloud environments.
• Experience in financial or highly regulated environments.
• Experience mentoring teams of 5+ engineers.
• Advanced English is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize a team of 9 engineers, including data integration developers and IDMC administrators.
• Provide technical leadership for enterprise data integration initiatives using Informatica IDMC.
• Lead the development of data pipelines using CDI and CMI.
• Extract, transform, and deliver data to Redshift and Denodo Data Marketplace.
• Define technical standards, architectures, and best practices.
• Lead end-to-end data products from ingestion to governance.
• Oversee platform maintenance including incident resolution, RCA, and change management.
• Define ETL migration and modernization methodologies.
• Lead workload assessment, migration strategy, and cutover activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and provide estimations and reviews.
• Mentor data engineering teams and promote best practices.
