Job summary

Technology Elite, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead Microsoft 365 and Azure initiatives, manage migrations, implement security tooling, and guide the team.

This role reports to the CTO/IT Director and operates as a technical escalation point while mentoring engineers. The position is remote with a night shift (8 pm–5 am PHT) and requires strong Windows Server, Entra ID, Azure, and PowerShell skills.

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID)
• Azure operational experience (execution, optimization, troubleshooting)
• Config VM incl autoscaling, resources, user limitations
• Azure virtual desktop envs
• Troubleshooting VM wont start, user profiles not loading
• Golden image updates (base default VM config)
• Windows Server administration (AD, DNS, GPO)
• Experience handling escalated technical issues in an MSP environment
• Ability to execute designs created by senior leadership
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• PowerShell or scripting experience

Responsibilities

• Project Delivery (50%): Implement M365 and Azure solutions
• Execute migrations (Server/GSuite/VM to M365/Azure), tenant cleanups, and optimizations
• Deploy security tools (e.g., scripting, EDR) under CTO/IT direction
• Support infrastructure upgrades and modernization
• Work with PMs and ensure deliverables meet security/technical standards
• Escalated Support (30%): Resolve Level 2 escalations (VPN, AVD, SQL, Azure access, Intune, DNS, workstation issues)
• Lead troubleshooting for infrastructure, cloud, and identity issues
• Oversee incident response and perform root cause analysis
• Guide service desk and document solutions
• Internal Improvement & Leadership (20%): Standardize tech stack and improve documentation (SOPs, runbooks)
• Support CTO in tool evaluation and optimization
• Mentor engineers and strengthen team capability
