CoDev Philippines is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to design and build scalable APIs powering content transformation and localization services. You will work on integrations, data processing, and backend architectures in a remote, full-time role.

You should be proficient with Python and Node.js, RESTful APIs, and XLIFF-related workflows. The position requires 3–4 years of backend experience, strong problem solving, and collaboration with product and frontend teams.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of backend software development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python and Node.js.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of API integration and backend service architecture.
• Experience with structured content, document transformation, or data processing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend APIs using Python and Node.js.
• Build API integrations that export and apply translated content using XLIFF.
• Troubleshoot and resolve content model, identifier, and integration edge cases.
• Develop solutions for structured content transformation across multiple services.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable backend solutions.
• Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code following backend engineering best practices.
