Job summary

Binance is a leading global blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency platform. We seek a senior security-focused engineer to design secure architectures, drive secure coding practices, and lead risk-based security reviews across products.

You will collaborate with global teams, conduct security assessments, and mentor engineering peers. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required to coordinate with overseas partners; a strong SDLC background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 6+ years of application security or software development; 10+ years preferred.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and SDLC.
• Proficient in mainstream web app development; Java stack preferred.
• Proficient in OWASP Top 10 issues and mitigations.
• Familiar with penetration testing concepts and techniques.
• Experience with static security scanning tools and problem analysis.
• Knowledge of mobile and web security basics.
• Ability to perform threat modeling and attack surface analysis.
• Bilingual English/Mandarin to coordinate with overseas partners.

Responsibilities

• Design secure application architectures with authentication, authorization, data protection and vulnerability management.
• Develop and maintain secure coding guidelines and standards.
• Conduct security requirement reviews to identify and mitigate risks for new products and fixes.
• Implement security controls and countermeasures to reduce risk.
• Perform regular security audits or penetration testing.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations (e.g., OWASP).
• Provide security research support for business areas and risk identification across products.
• Communicate security risks and recommendations to stakeholders; mentor teams on secure coding practices.
