Job summary

NOVACARD is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to own quality across the stack, from Flutter mobile UI tests to API validation and data verification. You will build a robust automation system, ensure reliability across microservices, and work with developers, DevOps, and QA to maintain fast delivery of financial services.

The role is fully remote, with possible business trips. You will design and maintain automation frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD, and analyze run results to report risks

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in mobile UI test automation.
• 5+ years of experience testing microservice-based applications.
• 2+ years of experience testing external integrations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and evolve UI autotests for the Flutter mobile application (Android/iOS) using Python and Appium.
• Design the automation framework architecture: Page Object patterns, business layers, fixtures, and environment configs.
• Work with Flutter app locators using Semantics labels and accessibility IDs to improve test stability.
• Ensure autotest suite stability: diagnose flaky tests, manage waits, ensure test isolation.
• Configure Allure reporting with steps, attachments, and test history analysis.
• Integrate autotests into CI/CD using GitLab CI; run pipelines with emulators and real devices.
