Job summary

MicroSourcing International is seeking a QA Analyst to design, develop, and execute test plans for web and backend systems. You will perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing, identify defects, and collaborate with developers and product owners to ensure product quality.

This remote role is based in the Philippines. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of QA experience, a bachelor’s degree in CS/IT, and familiarity with JIRA, TestRail, and Postman.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 2–4 years in software quality assurance or testing roles.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
• Experience with manual testing for web or application-based systems.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA or TestRail.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using standard issue tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality.
• Support release cycles by validating deployments and production readiness.
