Emapta Philippines is hiring a QA Analyst to help deliver reliable software for nonprofits and enterprises worldwide. Work-from-home setup, day-1 HMO with dependent coverage, and a competitive salary package are offered.

You will test Salesforce enhancements, track defects in Jira, and support UAT with business stakeholders in a fully remote, asynchronous team. The role emphasizes attention to detail, accurate documentation, and collaboration with global teams across time zones.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of QA or software testing experience in a software or SaaS environment.
• Ability to read, write, and execute structured test cases and test scripts.
• Experience logging and tracking defects using Jira or a similar project management tool (Jira preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, asynchronous environment across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

• Execute test plans, test cases, and regression scripts prepared by the Senior QA Analyst.
• Perform functional and regression testing for Salesforce enhancements, bug fixes, and releases.
• Validate development outputs against defined acceptance criteria before release.
• Document test results, including pass/fail status, supporting evidence, and environment details.
• Log and track defects in Jira, including reproduction steps, severity, and priority.
• Retest resolved defects and verify fixes before sign-off and deployment.
• Escalate recurring defect patterns and quality risks to the Senior QA Analyst or the development team.
• Assist in preparing UAT test scenarios and user-facing test materials.
• Support business stakeholders during UAT sessions by answering questions, capturing issues, and tracking sign-offs.
• Maintain UAT tracking documentation throughout the testing lifecycle.
