Job summary

Full Scale is a fully remote-first company based in the Philippines, hiring Senior / Staff Platform Security Engineers to own security across Azure/AKS, CI/CD, and IaC. This role reports to the CTO and collaborates with Engineering, IT, Quality, Product, and Compliance to implement practical controls.

You will harden Kubernetes, manage identity and access, run vulnerability programs, and lead security across cloud infrastructure while maintaining strong communication and independent execution.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cloud/platform security or related roles.
• 4+ years in cloud/platform security, DevSecOps or production security.
• Hands-on Azure AKS, Entra ID, Key Vault, monitoring, and production access controls.
• Strong IAM, RBAC, PIM, just-in-time access, access reviews.
• Terraform, Bicep, ARM or similar IaC experience.
• Experience with CI/CD security controls and automated scanning.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Own and strengthen security across Azure, AKS, Azure SQL, networking, storage, identity, secrets, and production environments.
• Harden Kubernetes workloads, containers, ingress, workload identity, secrets, and network controls.
• Design least-privilege and privileged access models including RBAC, PIM, just-in-time access, MFA, and access reviews.
• Own vulnerability management with triage, prioritization, remediation tracking, and reporting.
• Configure security and monitoring tools to improve threat detection and reduce noise.
• Implement security guardrails across CI/CD and IaC with SAST, SCA, and container scanning.
• Partner with engineers to resolve findings at the source.
• Support security architecture reviews, threat modeling, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Security & Privacy Compliance on audits and risk assessments.
• Develop security recommendations, standards, and implementation plans for stakeholders.
