Job summary

ProPharma is seeking a Pharmacovigilance Safety Surveillance Specialist in the Philippines to support the Benefit Risk group and ensure day-to-day PV operations are executed with accuracy.

Responsibilities include case processing for adverse events, MedDRA coding, literature searches, client communications, and regulatory monitoring, with emphasis on quality, timeliness, and compliance within a collaborative, hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in pharmacovigilance.
• Experience with clinical and post-market PV case processing.
• Knowledge of literature screening and PV processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform daily case processing of adverse event cases.
• Code events using MedDRA and assess seriousness and expectedness.
• Perform follow-up activities and identify information to collect.
• Create and review case narratives and provide client notifications.
• Monitor literature and conduct Health Authority checks.
• Ensure deliverables meet regulatory requirements and timelines.
• Maintain PV project documents and support regulatory intelligence.
