Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Philippines Inc. is seeking a Pharmacovigilance Specialist (MD/PharmD) for a fully remote role to provide medical review and clinical oversight of drug safety cases.

You will review ICSRs, assess adverse events, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with global stakeholders to support safety risk management and audits. Strong English communication and cross‑functional teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• MD or PharmD or equivalent in Medical Sciences.
• Experience reviewing ICsRs (Individual Case Safety Reports).
• Hands-on use of Argus Safety and Veeva Safety databases.
• Knowledge of AE reporting and pharmacovigilance regulations.
• Strong clinical assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent English communication, verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a global cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate ICSR and medical safety data.
• Assess adverse event reports and medical narratives.
• Ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance of PV deliverables.
• Provide medical expertise for safety assessments.
• Identify potential safety signals and support risk analyses.
• Collaborate with PV, Regulatory, Clinical Ops and QA teams.
• Support audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Serve as SME for complex medical reviews.
