Responsibilities

• Process payroll for employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Manage and oversee timekeeping systems for accurate hours tracking.
• Handle payroll-related tax filings, including quarterly and annual returns.
• Administer employee benefits such as health insurance and retirement plans.
• Generate and analyze payroll reports for management and auditing.
• Address payroll queries and issues raised by employees.
• Ensure proper classification of employees (exempt vs non-exempt).
• Maintain up-to-date payroll records and assist audits.
• Develop and update payroll policies and procedures.
• Oversee leave management (vacations, sick leave, absences).
• Collaborate with finance for budgeting and forecasting payroll expenses.
• Seek process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll data.
• Manage relationships with payroll service providers and vendors.
