Job summary

BairesDev is seeking an experienced Odoo Developer to join our globally distributed team. You will design, develop, and maintain Odoo modules and interfaces, migrate data, and ensure robust, scalable Python code across Linux/Windows environments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Odoo, strong Python and PostgreSQL skills, and are fluent in English. This remote role offers USD or local currency compensation and a flexible, inclusive work culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Odoo (Customization, Development, and Integration).
• Designing, developing and testing Odoo modules (HR, Payroll, Accounting, Inventory, CRM, DMS).
• Knowledge of PostgresSQL, Unix/Linux and Windows platforms is essential.
• Strong Python knowledge and programming concepts (OOP).
• Techno-functional expertise is preferred.
• Knowledge of API integrations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and coding standards.
• Follow software engineering best practices for readability and reuse of code.
• Knowledge of different Project Lifecycles.
• Advanced English level.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test Odoo modules, projects, products, and interfaces.
• Customize Odoo/OpenERP modules per requirements.
• Configure, install, and maintain Odoo/Ubuntu servers and multi-database environments.
• Analyze customer needs and build Odoo solutions; propose alternatives.
• Data migration and implementation of Odoo.
• Design, build, and maintain high-performance Python code.
• Manage projects/versions with SVN or Git.
• Integrate software into the ERP system and maintain technical documentation.
• Assist the technical support team to provide 3rd level support.
• Diagnose and resolve application errors; ensure performance and responsiveness.
• Identify bottlenecks and fix bugs; maintain code quality and automation.
