Job summary

JustMarkets is seeking a .NET Engineer to join a fintech product team focused on scalable, high-traffic systems. You will work with C#, .NET, PostgreSQL, Redis, and modern data technologies to build robust APIs (REST/GraphQL) and analytics pipelines.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement best practices, and contribute to production-grade systems with emphasis on observability, testing, and performance. Remote working options are available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial experience with C# and modern .NET.
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, data structures and algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with multithreading and asynchronous programming.
• Hands-on experience building and operating production systems.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and event-driven architectures, including message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Understanding of scalability and reliability principles, with some exposure to performance tuning.
• Solid experience with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL); familiarity with NoSQL is a plus.
• Experience working with APIs (any of REST, GraphQL, or gRPC).
• Hands-on experience with Entity Framework.
• Hands-on experience with Docker; basic understanding of Kubernetes concepts.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, ArgoCD).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Understanding of modern AI capabilities and limitations, with hands-on experience using AI-powered coding assistants or agents.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher for technical discussions and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable solutions for high-traffic systems using C# and modern .NET.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into clean, maintainable code and components, following established architectural guidelines.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to design and deliver features.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable and well-documented code, supported by unit, integration and load tests.
• Investigate production issues and improve system observability through logs, metrics, traces, and business data.
• Research and introduce new technologies, tools and engineering practices that can improve product quality and development efficiency.
