Responsibilities

• Transcribe audio recordings into accurate, formatted medical documents.
• Produce clinical notes, discharge summaries, operative reports, letters.
• Review and edit for grammar, spelling, formatting and medical accuracy.
• Flag unclear dictations and follow up with clinical staff.
• Organize and file transcriptions within EMR/PM system.
• Meet turnaround times for standard and urgent requests.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality of patient information.
• Stay current with medical terminology and procedures.
