The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years in medical reception or healthcare customer service, strong communication skills, and familiarity with medical terminology.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in medical reception or healthcare customer service.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Good organisational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls for clinics with high call volumes.
• Identify which clinic the patient is contacting and respond appropriately.
• Provide a professional and empathetic patient experience.
• Triage calls and determine next steps.
• Schedule, redirect, escalate, or transfer calls as required.
• Document call notes accurately in the Practice Management System.
• Provide information on clinic services and appointments.
• Escalate urgent matters to clinic personnel.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
