Job summary

BruntWork seeks a Mechanical Project Engineer to support Australian mining and mineral processing projects from remote work. You will work under the Engineering Lead, performing calculations, equipment selection, and documenting deliverables to ensure project success.

The role covers hydraulics, materials handling, conveyors, and coordination with Designers. You will apply Australian Standards and actively develop your technical design skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience.
• Experience applying Australian Standards.
• Permanent work from home.

Responsibilities

• Perform design calculations using spreadsheets and software for hydraulics and materials handling.
• Coordinate equipment selection with suppliers and review vendor data.
• Develop piping line lists, valve lists, and installation scope of works.
• Manage the delivery of your design deliverables and schedules.
• Coordinate layout design solutions with Designers and review 2D drawings.
