Job summary

iSupport Worldwide is seeking a creative Lighting Controls Engineer to work remotely. You will produce high quality diagrammatical systems layouts, BOMs, submittals, and layouts for contractors and electrical engineering firms.

The role requires reading lighting and electrical floor plans, interpreting specifications, and developing recommended solutions for customers. The ideal candidate has an Electrical Engineering degree, 1–3 years’ experience in lighting controls or related systems, and

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in lighting controls, fire alarm or HVAC preferred.
• Understanding of basic electrical components (relays, drivers, ballasts).
• Strong electrical basics, low and line voltage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or REVIT.
• Knowledge of lighting control systems and interactions (dimming, switching, bi-level).
• Effective written and oral communication with customers.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to think critically and work independently.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagrammatical system layouts and construction documents.
• Prepare System BOM, submittals, and layouts for contractors and engineering firms.
• Read and interpret lighting and electrical floor plans and specifications.
• Develop recommended solutions for customers and articulate answers to product questions.
• Communicate effectively on complex projects and collaborate with teams.
