Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Junior Landscape Draftsman to support our local team with 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and rendering for international landscape projects. You will turn concepts into clear, buildable drawings and compelling visuals.

You will collaborate with senior designers across time zones, using AutoCAD and SketchUp, with opportunities to grow into a mid/senior draftsman role. Remote work setup is available with performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as a Landscape Draftsman, CAD Technician, or similar role.
• Proficiency in 2D CAD (AutoCAD or similar).
• Working knowledge of 3D modeling (preferably SketchUp).
• Rendering experience with Lumion, D5, Enscape, V-Ray, or similar is a big plus.
• Basic understanding of landscape/site plans, planting plans, hardscape layouts, levels/grading and details.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standards and templates.
• Comfortable communicating in English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to learn quickly and grow into a more senior role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D landscape drawings (plans, elevations, sections, details) using CAD.
• Build 3D landscape models (SketchUp or similar) from design briefs and CAD files.
• Produce renders and presentation images for client submissions.
• Revise drawings based on markups and feedback from senior staff.
• Organize drawing sets for tender, construction, and presentations.
• Maintain clean file structures, layer standards and naming conventions.
• Coordinate with project managers to meet deadlines across time zones.
