Job summary

Wing Assistant is seeking a remote Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling Designer / Materials Coordinator to start immediately. You will create complete designs using 2020 Design, develop cabinet layouts and renderings, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials align with project timelines.

This role requires 5+ years of experience, strong organization, and excellent communication to manage multiple projects nationwide or internationally.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of expert-level experience using 2020 Design software for kitchen and bathroom remodeling.
• Experience designing kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects.
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT to create presentation-quality renderings.
• Strong knowledge of cabinets, layouts, countertops, fixtures, vanities, hardware, and remodeling materials.
• Ability to interpret measurements, floor plans, elevations, layouts, and project scopes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, revisions, supplier quotes, and material orders simultaneously.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable coordinating directly with suppliers and internal teams.
• Highly organized, dependable, and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Create complete kitchen and bathroom remodel designs using 2020 Design software.
• Develop cabinet layouts, floor plans, elevations, renderings, and design documents.
• Review jobsite measurements and project specifications to produce accurate and buildable designs.
• Revise designs based on client feedback, supplier requirements, field conditions, and project updates.
• Coordinate design details including cabinets, countertops, fixtures, vanities, hardware, trim, storage solutions, and related remodeling materials.
• Request, review, and compare supplier quotes for cabinets, countertops, plumbing fixtures, tile, and other materials.
• Communicate with suppliers to resolve design, pricing, specification, and availability concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of material selections, specifications, supplier quotes, and order confirmations.
• Place cabinet and material orders with approved suppliers.
• Verify order details including dimensions, finishes, hardware, quantities, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Track material orders from purchase through delivery and communicate updates, delays, or backorders.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure materials arrive on schedule for installation.
• Work closely with sales, project managers, field supervisors, installers, suppliers, and clients throughout each project.
• Participate in design meetings, project handoffs, and supplier coordination meetings.
• Identify and resolve design, material, and ordering issues before they impact project timelines.
