Job summary

Access Now seeks an Incident Response Analyst to join its global Helpline. You will help manage digital security incidents, analyze threats, preserve forensic evidence, and coordinate with regional teams.

This role reports to the Helpline Incident Response Manager and supports incident handlers across the globe. Requirements include experience in incident response or escalation teams, strong IT skills, and empathy for human rights work.

Qualifications

• Experience in incident response or escalation teams.
• Strong technical competencies in security tools and networks.
• Interest in supporting civil society and human rights in the region.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence concepts and incident handling workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage digital security incidents as Tier 2 responder.
• Conduct root-cause analyses of incidents.
• Preserve forensic evidence while analyzing artifacts.
• Correlate incident data to identify vulnerabilities and trends.
• Support development of threat intelligence indicators and advisories.
• Assist in onboarding and skill-building for incident handlers.
