Job summary

VERIDAPT is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join the Platform Engineering team in Manila, Philippines. The role is hybrid with work-from-home flexibility and in-person company events.

You will secure, monitor and optimize our global IoT fleet, manage cloud infra, and drive automation across AWS, Vultr, and on-prem migrations while supporting incident response and security operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Cloud Infra or Systems Eng.

Responsibilities

• Manage and evolve cloud infrastructure across AWS and Vultr.
• Own production incidents end-to-end including SaaS outages and DB incidents.
• Lead infrastructure migrations from on-prem to SaaS and perform DB upgrades.
• Participate in on-call rotation (PagerDuty) and post-incident reviews.
• Administer PostgreSQL environments with replication, backups, and tuning.
• Maintain network/security infra including firewalls and VPNs.
• Build automation with Ansible and AWX; improve monitoring/observability.
