Job summary

Peak Support Global Enterprise seeks a Home Care Scheduling & Staffing Coordinator to coordinate and maintain caregiver schedules, ensuring quality care and uninterrupted service delivery for clients.

This role serves as a liaison between caregivers, clients, field staff, and internal operations teams to effectively match caregiver availability, skills, and client needs while ensuring adequate coverage for all scheduled shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in home care scheduling and caregiver staffing.
• Strong understanding of workforce coordination and coverage planning.
• Familiarity with scheduling software and records management.
• Ability to match caregiver availability to client needs with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily caregiver schedules for assigned clients and service areas.
• Match caregivers to client cases based on availability, qualifications, care requirements, and geographic considerations.
• Monitor schedules and address call-offs, changes, and last-minute staffing needs.
• Communicate schedule updates to caregivers and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with intake, clinical and operations teams to ensure onboarding and continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate scheduling records in scheduling and workforce management systems.
• Ensure shifts are staffed appropriately and escalate coverage concerns as needed.
• Monitor caregiver availability, overtime, and scheduling compliance.
• Respond to scheduling inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
• Assist recruitment and onboarding by coordinating caregiver availability and placement opportunities.
• Support workforce planning to maintain staffing levels and coverage.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and HIPAA.
