Job summary

CKH Group is hiring a Government Accountant based in the Philippines to support a multinational public-sector engagement using Bisan ERP and U.S. GAAP. You will reconcile ledgers, prepare audit schedules, and assist ministry staff with Bisan daily.

The role is fully remote for an initial 12–14 month assignment with potential extension, reporting to a U.S.-based Engagement Manager. The position requires hands-on Bisan experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• 1+ year hands-on use of Bisan ERP financial modules.
• 3+ years accounting under U.S. GAAP, including with U.S.-based clients or offshore teams.
• Knowledge of GASB fund accounting and interfund balances.
• Ability to clear reconciliations backlog and resolve aged balances.
• Experience preparing audit schedules and responding to auditors.
• Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, templates).
• Fluent written and spoken English; able to explain steps to staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile general ledger balances in Bisan to bank statements and ledgers with clear workpapers.
• Clear backlogged monthly and year-end reconciliations, research items, and draft adjusting entries.
• Produce a reconciled year-end trial balance for financial statements and audits.
• Work with government staff to resolve open balances across fiscal years.
• Prepare audit schedules and help answer auditor questions.
• Pull reports, trace transactions, and use Bisan functions to support work.
• Show client staff how to record entries and run reconciliations in Bisan.
• Help the U.S. team build working knowledge of Bisan.
• Join weekly client calls and regular check-ins with the Engagement Manager.
• Maintain open-items lists and contribute to monthly status reports.
