Jobgether is seeking a Tax Analyst - VAT based in Spain to join a global finance team. You will handle VAT reporting across multiple jurisdictions, collaborate with external tax advisors, and ensure accurate VAT accounting and compliance in a fast-paced, asynchronous environment.

Ideal candidates have strong analytical skills, hands-on VAT experience, and a professional tax qualification. The role supports remote work and offers an international scope across EMEA and APAC.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing and filing VAT returns and reports across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong analytical skills to investigate discrepancies and interpret VAT requirements.
• Ability to work accurately with financial data in ERP systems.
• Proven collaboration with tax advisors, accounting, and finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit VAT returns and related reports for EMEA and APAC.
• Collaborate with external tax advisors on filings and compliance.
• Reconcile VAT accounts and ensure ERP data accuracy.
• Review invoices for VAT compliance and correct tax treatment.
• Support VAT registrations/deregistrations and audits as needed.
• Monitor VAT legislation changes and assess impact on the organization.
• Identify process improvements for VAT reporting efficiency.
