Job summary

Tala is seeking a Visual Brand Designer to shape how Tala looks, feels, and shows up in the world. You’ll translate brand strategy into a cohesive identity and systems, owning logo, color, and typography to ensure a consistent visual language across digital and offline touchpoints.

Working with Marketing and Strategy, you’ll translate guidelines into pixel-perfect assets for campaigns, social channels, and product storytelling while upholding brand integrity across time zones and cultures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in graphic design, animation, or illustration.
• Proven command of typography, color theory, and design principles.
• Experience building and managing brand identity and visual systems.
• International experience with US brands or cross-cultural design is a plus.
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Strong portfolio showcasing refined design and typographic sensibility.
• Experience with consumer brands and B2B, in-house or at an agency.
• Collaborative, with strong empathy and impact-aware design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and evolve Tala's global brand identity and visual systems.
• Create icons, animations, illustrations, and campaigns across channels: ads, social, email.
• Ensure brand integrity and consistency across teams and touchpoints.
• Design a wide range of assets aligned with brand guidelines and campaigns.
• Incorporate data and performance insights to refine creative work.
• Generate fresh ideas and provide constructive feedback across teams.
• Self-manage multiple deadlines and priorities across time zones.
