• Coding and testing software to meet specs and standards.
• Provide documentation for written programs per installation conventions.
• Quality checks on code, components and docs.
• Respond to Production Support issues and analyze efficiency of programs.
• Provide rough Order of Magnitude estimates for new/changed functionality.
• Assess needs for backup, security, restart/recovery, balancing and controls.

Responsibilities

• Codes programs/objects/components; configures packaged software; tests and implements changes.
• Documents and implements programs per installation standards.
• Quality checks program code, related objects and documentation.
• Responds to Production Support issues; analyzes efficiency of programs.
• Prepares rough estimates for the effort of new or changed functionality.
• Recommends approaches for backup, security and data management.
• Analyzes data conversion and data modeling requirements.
