Job summary

Remote Office is seeking a highly execution-focused Full Stack Developer (React.js + Node.js) to build scalable web applications in a remote, startup-like environment. The role focuses on both frontend and backend, with AI-assisted coding workflows and end-to-end ownership from idea to deployment.

The candidate will work in a remote-first culture, collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-impact features and optimize performance across the stack.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with React.js and Node.js.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience in designing and developing AI agents using modern LLM SDKs.
• Experience with test automation (UI/API/end-to-end).
• Knowledge of SQL/Postgres databases.
• Experience with GitHub workflows and version control.
• Ability to work independently in remote environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable frontend applications using React.js and Next.js.
• Build backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Integrate databases, authentication systems, and third-party APIs.
• Work with Supabase/Postgres for data modeling and management.
• Implement Stripe payment flows and webhook integrations.
• Improve performance and scalability with Redis and caching strategies.
• Deploy and maintain applications on Vercel/cloud platforms.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for critical workflows.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams.
• Use AI coding tools to improve development speed and efficiency.
• Participate in debugging, optimization, code reviews, and architecture discussions.
• Take ownership of features from planning to production release.
