Staff X in the Philippines is seeking a dedicated defect estimator to handle Uptick-based quotations for Australian fire protection services. This remote position focuses on converting field findings into precise, defensible quotes across detection, sprinkler, and suppression systems, for NT and SA operations.

The role demands prior estimating experience in fire services, strong interpretation of field reports, and availability to work Australian Central Standard Time hours from a home office.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Uptick with hands-on experience preferred.
• Estimating experience within fire services or related maintenance environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical field reports with precision.
• Working understanding of fire protection systems including detection and alarm, sprinkler, suppression, hydrant, and portable equipment.
• Genuine availability to work Australian Central Standard Time hours on a full-time basis.
• Familiarity with Australian fire compliance and defect rectification standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Convert defect findings and inspection results from Uptick into accurate, competitive quotations.
• Interpret technician reports, photographs, and asset data to price defect rectification works.
• Manage end-to-end defect estimating for Northern Territory and South Australia operations.
• Produce quotations covering fire detection and alarm, sprinkler, suppression, hydrant, and portable equipment systems.
• Work to Australian CST hours from a remote home office in the Philippines.
