Job summary

Drug Hunter is seeking a rigorous data curator to cover emerging drug discovery patents and disclosures. You will triage and curate data from scientific papers and patents, interpret chemical structures and biological data, and surface key insights for readers. Remote North America-based, full-time.

Ideal candidates have 0–3 years in data curation, a strong chemistry background (BS/MS), and experience with primary literature and chemoinformatics tools like ChemDraw and PubChem.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in organic, medicinal chemistry or chemical biology.
• 0-3 years focused on data curation; biotechnology/pharma background preferred.
• Strong data curation with ability to interpret patent literature and primary science.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and curate data from drug discovery literature and patents.
• Maintain rigor and accuracy in data curation and database construction.
• Interpret chemical structures and biological data for readers.
• Contribute to data research and curation across multiple projects.
• Stay informed about the biopharmaceutical R&D process and key players.
